Event Details

A strong passion for mid-century rockabilly and rhythm and blues music inspired Miss Teresa to become a performer and inevitably front her own band, becoming one of Australia’s favourite rockabilly outfits.
After gaining notoriety as singer in The Starlite Ramblers, Teresa formed Miss Teresa and Her Rhythmaires, much to the delight of dancers and rockabilly fans. The band deliver high-energy rockabilly to create a fresh upbeat sweet sound capturing the reckless, adventurous abandon of the 1950s.

The Rhythmaires feature “Dangerous Dan” Nosovich on guitar, who is also singing partner to Miss Teresa on the duets that are so popular with audiences. Dan never disappoints when it comes to pulling out all the stops on the guitar. Raising the stakes in the entertainment factor is the rhythm section of world-renowned Jon Flynn, who makes playing the double bass an art form, and the charismatic Coojee Timms on sticks and skins, who’s playing is precise and solid.

Miss Teresa and her Rhythmaires have supported numerous acts including Imelda May, Wanda Jackson, Wayne Hancock, Darrell Higham, Deke Dickerson, Jason Lee Wilson.

A night out with Miss Teresa and Her Rhythmaires is sure to be a memorable one as they deliver their unique brand of rockabilly music with plenty of opportunity to carve up the dance floor.

Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 8.00pm.
