Backed by a stellar group of local musicians, to be announced!
Sydney-born saxophonist, Michael Griffin is making a big name for himself in the jazz community worldwide. Recently, Michael worked in New York with drummer Billy Kay (Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Stanley Turrentine).
Michael has performed at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Manly Jazz Festival, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney Town Hall, Foundry 616, The Basement, 505, The Ellington (Perth), Smalls Jazz Club (NYC), Smoke Jazz Club (NYC), Fat Cat (NYC), the Smithsonian (Washington DC) and many more.
