Australian born / New York based Jazz Pianist Matt Baker leads a powerful trio with two of Australia’s finest musicians, double bassist Jeremy O’Connor and drummer Cameron Reid (NSW).
Matt Baker and the Trio return to Brisbane to launch the DVD, performing a program that includes some classic standards, new arrangements for the trio, and some original music from Matt, himself.
A hard swinging jazz piano trio – all presented in a program of classic jazz with an exciting contemporary edge combined with powerful vocals from award winning Ingrid James.
