Stylus Reunion Tour performed to full houses in December for 2 nights in the Doo-Bop Jazz Bar to a room full of excited and expectant fans.The band sounded as fresh and tight as the day they were signed up by US Motown Label, Tamala. Peter Cupples (lead vocalist/songwriter), Sam McNally (pianist/keyboardist), Ronnie Peers (guitarist), Gerry Pantazis (drums) and Doug Williams (bass/lead vocalist) stormed the stage with energy and creativity. Their infectious soul and funk grooves, effortless vocals and harmonies to their classic 70’s and originals was a perfect fusion of old soul and contemporary tight arrangements. These are world class musicians and there’s no doubt that the audience savoured every moment of both their concerts here at Doo-Bop!
