“A Night of Swinging Standards” Calling on compositions from Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Count Basie, this band plays great tunes that swing!
Based on the the Gold Coast, Australia, Todd is an exciting Trumpet player who is comfortable in a variety of musical settings, but is clearly rooted in the tradition of Jazz.
Before his recent move to coast, Todd performed in a variety of venues throughout Sydney with his Jazz trio as well as regular performances with the vocalist Anita Spring. Todd now pays tribute to the swing era and music of Count Basie & Duke Ellington with his 13 piece “Swing Orchestra”. Other regular performances include Monica Trapaga, Rhonda Burchmore, the Dan Barnett Big Band, the Unity Hall Jazz band and George Washingmachine.
