Frances says, “I’m really looking forward to playing at the Doo-Bop Jazz Bar. We’ll be doing a mix of jazz, blues & ballads including some of my original tunes together with our interpretation of timeless classics. There will be a variety of tempos and new arrangements, some beautiful harmonies and also some clever improvisation from some great Brisbane musicians in the band. There will be something for everyone so bring some friends and we promise to make it an evening you’ll enjoy.”

Frances performs with a 6-piece band including Tim Geldens (SYD) on drums alongside some of Brisbane’s finest musicians on double and electric bass, guitar, saxophone and backing vocals.

Frances performs regularly at leading festivals, clubs and venues around Australia as well as overseas and her Jazz Blues & Classics show sells out almost every time she plays. Frances captivates her audiences with a combination of her genuinely warm stage presence along with a voice and style that is uniquely her own.  Her music is jazz influenced but able to be enjoyed by a broad audience.

In the past twelve months, Frances has headlined at the JZ Club in Shanghai, sold out several shows at the Basement in Sydney, drawn a crowd of over 1,500 people at Manly Jazz Festival and supported the legendary Dionne Warwick as well as Grammy Award winner Gregory Porter in their recent Australian shows. She was a feature performer at the Devonport Jazz Festival last year and again recently at the Hobart Festival of Voices.

Frances has recently been signed by manager Joe Lamont of Pipeline Entertainment in the US who also works with jazz diva Patti Austin and hip hop legends Arrested Development.
