Zeuritia is a stage name of Czech singer Vendula Smoldasova visiting Brisbane to perform at DooBop as a quintet. She specializes in bossa nova, jazz and her original music therefore you can look forward to be hearing tunes in three different languages: Brasilian Portuguese, English and Czech. On the menu of the night you will find a couple of rare jazz standards from Disney movies, originals from her latest album “Weightless” and some unique bossa novas from Brazil. All of that delivered in Zeuritia’s style which is rather melodic and smooth with emphasis on storytelling and always backed by top instrumental performance. Critics appreciate her positive energy, emotionally rich song testimony and authentic timbre.
