The Toby Wren Trio launches their Black Mountain album that explores new levels of emotional and musical depth.

Toby Wren is one of Australia’s most compelling and original artists. Gigging from an early age in Blues, Rock, Classical and Fusion, Wren went on to study composition at the Queensland Conservatorium. The synthesis of these styles into Toby’s compositions and performances has seen his work achieve international recognition.

Toby’s work can broadly be classified as contemporary jazz but like others of his generation, he has collaborated widely including with South Indian classical musicians. Despite these diverse influences his work retains a coherence and intensity that has garnered critical acclaim and an ever-increasing fan base.

Doors open at 6.30pm. Show starts at 7.30pm.
