Forming in the late 1960s, Galapagos Duck soon became a household name in Australian jazz after becoming the house band at the emerging jazz club, The Basement, in Sydney. Also referred to as the “Duck”, the band has performed in concert halls, night clubs, jazz festivals, recording studios, on radio and television – and it shows no signs of stopping.
While the membership has changed, the direction of the band remains the same. To create a performance experience orientated in jazz that is able to be appreciated and enjoyed by all listeners.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Show starts at 7.30pm.
