Fresh from their sold out performance at the 2017 Brisbane International Jazz Festival Andrew Butt Trio + will perform works from their latest release Blueberry Ash as well as some reworks of favorite standards. The 2017 Queensland Music Award nominated album is comprised of themes inspired by Brisbane and its surrounds and features prominent members of Queensland’s jazz community.

Andrew is an award-winning performer, composer and educator with accolades including a Queensland Music Award, a Churchill Fellowship and performing as a jazz soloist with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. He has toured throughout Australia and internationally to Indonesia, Fiji, New Zealand, China, Europe and North America and has studied with a diverse range of artists including Tony Hobbs, George Garzone, Chris Cheek, Bill McHenry and Branford Marsalis.
