Jamie Clark brings a quartet to doo-bop to perform some new pieces and favourite tunes from his years as a journeyman guitar player in Brisbane. He has performed with many well-known Australian jazz artists, including Elly Hoyt, James Morrison, Emma Pask, Katie Noonan, Jamie Oehlers, John Hoffman, Jim Kelly and Kristin Beradi.
Jamie’s music draws on many influences, from contemporary jazz and bebop to new acoustic music and folk song.
The quartet is completed by some of Jamie’s old friends and admired colleagues, John Parker drums, Andrew Shaw bass and Peta Wilson piano.

“understated and elegant…fat, burnished tones…he gives a little microtonal tweak to almost every wisely placed note…” Guitar Player Magazine (US)
“… many of the satisfactions of the modern jazz guitar trio are delivered with exhilarating felicity.” Sydney Morning Herald
