Pete Cullen is one hell of a talented singer and songwriter.

Through the years, Pete has developed a unique sound that could best be described as Alt ‘Outlaw’ Country with a dash of Rockabilly thrown in for good measure.

Along with his stellar band The Hurt, Pete is known to set many a stage ‘on fire’ with his ultra-energetic live show yet he can create a ‘pin-drop’ moment when delivering a song in acoustic mode.

Hailing from Brisbane, Pete is not a newcomer to the music scene. He is already well known and highly respected by fellow musicians who often populate his full-house shows.

Pete has released 4 albums since 2003 including Tom Whisky Blues with the legendary Rockwiz Orkastra whose band leader, James Black, says of his friend; “Pete Cullen is a singer songwriter with an awesome voice. He lives the musical life, loves the tradition and most importantly….he rocks hard! Whenever I’m in Brisbane if Pete is playing, I’m going find where he is, go see him and If he’ll let me, I wanna play with him.”.

Pete’s music has been featured on MTV, CMC and RAGE and has had high rotation on Triple J.

And on the live front, he has appeared alongside artists such as Troy Cassar-Daley, Busby Marou, Henry Wagons, You Am I, Spiderbait and the Hoodoo Gurus.

Pete has a swag of great songs about to be recorded and scheduled for release in the second half of 2019.

Australian music fans are set to hear a whole lot more about this accomplished musician, songwriter and all-round entertainer.
