Clint holds a Masters of Music (trumpet performance) degree from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and performs regularly in a variety of classical, jazz, contemporary, chamber and experimental music settings.    He has received numerous Australian Arts Council and Queensland Arts grants to implement contemporary music programs, and was awarded a 2011 Churchill Fellowship to travel to Europe to work with leading practitioners specifically involved in the creation of confluent/crossover music.    Clint has backed prominent artists including Don Burrows, Julie Anthony, James Morrison, Chrissy Amphlett, Tina Arena, Human Nature, Natalie Cole, Anthony Calea, Mark Diesel, Leo Sayer, Rick Price, Christine Anu and John Waters, and has travelled with various ensembles both nationally and internationally.   He performed over 500 concerts while on tour with BUZZ, a brass quartet formed by Musica Viva to educate young children around Australia and develop music programs in primary schools in both city and rural areas along the east coast of Australia.   He has performed at major music festivals (Big Day Out, Livid, Byron Bay Bluesfest, Woodford Folk Festival, Splendour In The Grass), recorded many television commercials and Sony PlayStation soundtracks, directed the Zappa/Bjork Big Band, experimental electro-acoustic music recitals (Sympatico), contemporary operas (NORPA and Barry Conyham) and numerous other orchestral and contemporary music projects.  Clint was a member with the Latin group, Hot Mambo which was the resident Latin band at the Treasury Casino for over four years, and has performed extensively with the band up and down the Queensland Coast.     Clint also is a regular recording artist in Brisbane appearing on various projects including the Resin Dog’s album’s ‘More’ (2007) and ‘ Hi-Fidelity Dirt’ (2003) and the acclaimed Butterfingers album ‘The Deeper You Dig’ (2006).    More recently, his arranging/recording collaboration with Dave Atkins has resulted in albums with the Bankrupt Billionaires (‘Nobody’s Business’, 2015), Mantra (‘Telling Scenes’, 2013), Resin Dogs (‘The Beats From Downunder’, 2013), Travy Ear (‘For Your Ears Only’, 2013) and Triple Nip (‘Triple Nip’, 2013).
