Dan started to perform professionally at the age of 17 but it wasn’t until is his early 20s did the impact of early exposure and connection to jazz legends spark the passion to pursue a career as a jazz musician, educator and advocate.
Dan has performed with some of Australia’s finest jazz musicians including Mike Nock, Dale Barlow, Judy Bailey, Craig Scott, Steve Brien, James Morrison, Col Loughnan, James Muller, Australian National Jazz Orchestra, plus many more.
Dan is currently the Head of School at the Jazz Music Institute, Brisbane where he enjoys teaching a range of subjects. Over the past four years Dan has been in regular contact with Wynton Marsalis who he is very fortunate to have as a personal mentor.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Show starts at 7.30pm.
